Fit Life Diet and Exercise
For many people in this day and age, the self-confidence to
go about their daily routine stems from their physical appearance. It is,
therefore, no surprise that many people who are not comfortable with what they
look like try to change their appearance.
Bar going to extreme measures like cosmetic surgery in a bid
to get the perfect body, dieting and exercise are the go-to domains for
achieving the right look.
Many scientists, celebrities and dieticians have come up
with numerous diets and fitness tips which they claim improve the form of the
body, at the same time providing a healthy interior bodily environment.
Renowned dieticians Harvey and Marilyn Diamond came up with
a diet known as Fit for Life. In this diet, the partaker has to identify the
different classes of food and ensure that certain kinds are not mixed. This
diet plan maintains that one can not only lose weight in a reasonable manner by
changing what one ingests, but by also eating it at a certain time and with
specific accompaniments.
For example, carbohydrates are recommended for early meals,
that is, breakfast and lunch. They can be accompanied by fresh vegetables but
never by fruit or animal protein. Dinner, according to this plan, is centered
on protein. The Diamonds, however, urge those partaking in this diet plan to do
away with animal protein, save for fresh fish and organic eggs.
Fruit should be eaten alone, not at meal times and not with
any other food. Apparently, they are cleansing agents and should, therefore, be
eaten in the morning before breakfast so as to stimulate the body to receive
new food.
Though many scientists and reputed dieticians do not agree
with this plan, they do agree that exercise should be regularly done alongside
a diet that one is following in order to have satisfactory results.
It is no wonder, therefore, that many fitness tips that are
given out by the experts always include exercise as well as a change in food
that one introduces into their body.
The general consensus in many of these fitness tips offered
is that one should reduce the intake of cholesterol, sodium, sugar and
saturated fat whilst engaging in plenty of exercise. If you are overweight, the
result of this is that you will lose the excess weight in healthy manner. If
you are the right weight, the combination of a good diet and exercise will
prevent you from gaining unnecessary weight.
